When is the Best Time to see Migration?
The Great Migration moves throughout the Serengeti ecosystem during the year. The best time depends on what you would like to experience, whether it is large herds on the plains, calving season or river crossings.
For dramatic river crossings, the northern Serengeti is generally visited around July to October. For calving and newborn wildlife, January to March is an excellent period around the southern Serengeti.
Is Migration Better in Kenya or Tanzania?
The Great Migration takes place across the wider Serengeti–Mara ecosystem, which includes both Tanzania and Kenya. The experience differs depending on the season and the specific area you visit.
Tanzania offers access to the Serengeti throughout much of the migration cycle, while Kenya's Masai Mara is particularly associated with the northern part of the ecosystem and seasonal river crossings.
Is a safari suitable for families or older travelers?
Absolutely. A Tanzania safari can be tailored to suit families, couples and older travelers. We can adjust the pace, driving time, accommodation and daily activities around your comfort and interests.

What’s included in my safari?

Do I need a visa or vaccinations?

How do payments and bookings work?
Once you decide on your preferred itinerary, we prepare a personalized quotation and confirm availability with the relevant accommodation providers.
After you approve the itinerary, a deposit is normally required to secure the booking. The exact payment schedule and balance due date will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation.
Is tipping expected on safari?
Tipping is customary in Tanzania's safari industry when you feel that your guide, camp staff or other service providers have provided good service. It is generally considered a gesture of appreciation rather than a compulsory charge.

What’s the difference between Full Board and Game Package?
Full Board generally refers to accommodation with meals included according to the property's meal plan, while a Game Package may include additional safari-related services such as selected game drives, transfers or activities depending on the property and booking conditions.
